When was the last time you felt frustrated?

How recent was it that you felt disrespected or disregarded?

We were modeled to by our parents. They were the boss. Do what they say because they are the authority. But you never had a conversation when they passed that baton to you and said, “ok, now you are your own authority and I’ve built you up to trust yourself, love yourself, have solid healthy boundaries and excellent communication. Go build an amazingly powerful and happy life. You’re the boss now.”

When did that conversation ever happen?

So, instead we carry that modeling which became our programming because our subconscious mind learned over repetitive times that we do what we’re told even when we don’t like it and we don’t get a say in the matter.

So, as adults we enter work agreements and relationships and then the volcano erupts – like when is it my turn?

When am I the one that everyone listens to and does what I want?

When do I get to be the authority? Never, right?

So, to bridge that gap we have to learn two really important things.
